"Blades In" - by Rio Wrenn

"Blades In" - Rio Wrenn

About her art Rio says:

“I am particularly interested in the role of pattern in traditional fabric production and story-like quality through repetition. I use raw materials as a connection to the earth and traditions of the past that creates a dialog which reflects upon our contemporary society in how we utilize our resources while finding new patterns and uses for our societal evolution.”

PNA Arts Program Mission Statement
The purpose of the PNA Arts Program is to provide the community with a rich diversity of cultural experiences while supporting regional visual and performing artists. To achieve this goal, the program develops creative venues for artists to share their work in a neighborhood environment.

Preference is given to artists living in the Puget Sound area who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery.

The Phinney Center Gallery is funded in part by 4Culture (formerly the Cultural Developmental Authority of King County).

The Phinney Center Gallery is a partner in Take Part in Art.org. Click on the logo below to find other area arts event listed at the Take Part in Art.org website.
